Real Boston Sports Fans welcomes DuffMan into the RBSF Hall of Fame, making him the 6th member of this exclusive club. DuffMan joins previous inductees DK, Luke, GMAC, JBS and Walpole Joe. He has been a consistent contributor to the site, making solid points and showing considerable knowledge about all of our Boston sports teams. Congratulations D-Man on this well deserved honor. A look at DuffMan's Hall of Fame plaque.....
Name: Barry Duffman. Hometown: Boston. Currently Resides: North Shore. 1st Boston Championship of Your Lifetime: 1969 Celtics (but the 1st I remember is the '81 Celtics). Favorite Team: New England Patriots. Favorite All-Time Boston Athlete: Larry Bird. Favorite Current Boston Athletes: Bruins-David Krejci, Celtics-Rajon Rondo, Patriots-Wes Welker, Red Sox-Jon Lester. I Hate...Just about any team from NY, LA or Florida, and I hate sports economics (ticket prices, free agency, greedy players, greedy owners, big market vs small market, etc).....Favorite Boston Sports Moments: Adam Vinatieri's game-winning field goal against the Rams to give the Patriot's their 1st Super Bowl victory. The Red Sox improbable comeback against the Yankees in 2004 ALCS. Dougl Flutie's "Hail Mary" pass to beat the University of Miami. Best Boston Sports Moment Experienced Live: Several, but most recent was seeing Big Papi hit a game-winning 3-run double in the 9th inning to give the Sox a 5-4 victory over the Tigers.

Nice work Duffman. I hope you don't take a hiatus from the site now as have been a trend (even if just temporarily) for a few other HOF members.
congratulations duffman!
now is my time to get active on here again since all of the obvious picks are already in now. boston bob could be up next!
Duffman is a huffer. He should be called Huffman.
Glad to to see the site back up and running and Welcome to the HOF Duffman
Thanks DK, Boston Bob, and GMAC!
Walpole Joe, you rotten curmudgeon, you're just jealous that I have a weather tight home that I like to keep clean. Sure the fumes from the easy-off start to build-up after the oven has been cleaned for the ninth time during the weekend, but that's not for you to judge.
On the other hand, we all appreciated what you did for the Red Sox in 1988, but its sad what's become of you: Spending your days in a dilapidated house that wreaks of used kitty litter and moth balls, while puttering around in a bathrobe and muttering "6, 2, and even" all day. Throw in a likely case of incontinence and I can't imgine the unpleasant potpourri that the Walpole healh services workers are in for when they come to finally rescue you and your 40 cats.
