Mid-Week Miscellaneous

As always there is plenty to discuss in this edition of Mid-Week Miscellaneous.....With the Final Four ready play on Saturday, I'm going with Butler to take it all (which is probably bad news for the Bulldogs).....Speaking of March Madness the NCAA appears ready to increase the field from 65 to 96. The argument is that more teams should be in the dance, as it is with football bowl games. The shocking part here is that somebody would use the football bowl system as a barometer to decide anything.....Twins oufielder Denard Spann hit his mom in the stands with a foul ball today. Seriously, what are the odds on that?.....Although Joey Porter will not be facing DUI charges that does not change the fact that he's still an absolute moron.....these and any other topics on your sports mind are open for discussion right here in MWM.....

I'm pulling for a Butler title. If I'm not going to win my bracket (which I'm not) I'd like to root for the underdog.

I am looking forward to continuing my winning streak in the adult Easter Egg Hunt at my cousins house.

He is pretty lame himself, but his wife is cool...

Evan Turner (Ohio State) wins AP Player of the Year and Jim Boeheim (Syracuse) wins AP Coach of the Year. Both well deserved.

Donovan McNabb reportedly traded from the Eagles to Redskins. Seems odd to trade a guy into your own division unless you really don't think he's bringing much to the table....unless Washington just grossly overpaid for him (unsure what they gave up to get him)
