We first got excited about bringing Julius Peppers to Foxboro last offseason, but obviously that never happened. But now talks are heating up that Peppers may end up with the Pats after all. Would you like to see the Pats make a run for him? How much should they be willing to pay? Is signing Peppers more important to you than re-signing Wilfork?.....this and any other issues on your Pats mind are open for discussion right here.....

As I stated somewhere in a previous post, the Pats only have 4 of the 11 defensive starting spots locked down confidently for next season (Warren, Mayo and the safetys). That means they need to figure out SEVEN other starters. I certainly would love to have Peppers, but I'd rather see them add a slew of quality players if that is the tradeoff.
Adding Peppers would trump losing Wilfork, and then some.
Besides, it doesn't seem as if Wilfork really wants to be here.
Didn't get to see much of him last year, but part of me feels that if we added Cromartie, and Peppers it would set us back to a team that could really compete. All of the complaints (that I have lodged) could be nullified for at least a season or two.
Having a guy of Peppers level on a team, makes the teammates rise to the occasion.
