Celts Notes: What Will Danny Do?

The NBA's trading deadling is Thursday, so what does Danny Ainge plan to do before it arrives? Anything? We've heard Ray Allen and Glen Davis' names mentioned in several rumors each, so will either be exiting Boston this week? Will the Celtics make any moves? Do they need to?.....meanwhile Boston begins their post All Star schedule with 4 road games this week......these and any other items on your Celtics mind are open for discussion right here.....

Appears that House for Robinson is the hot story. Any chance that they'll do something else as well?

By the way, anyone else notice Danny Ainge has aged 25 years in the last 6 months?

He looks like Brett Favre in that picture...

I was also thinking Ainge looks like crap lately. I saw some footage of him today and he looks like he gained weight. He is one of those guys who I always thought would look like they could play at 90.

What is with the Celts bringing in guys with bad reps (Marbury, Wallace, Robinson)? Are they turning into the Patriots? It seems like our teams are getting desperate.
Will the Bruins trade for Steve Avery and Steve Ott?

I don't think he's actually aged much--just stopped dyeing his hair post-heart attack! Right now we're hearing Eddie House for Nate Robinson, which sounds intriguing... I can't help but remember when Danny himself was traded 10 minutes before the trading deadline in 1989. (I was crushed.)

Eddie House is the truest of players. He always comes to play, and plays beyond expectation. Though I am a fan of Nate Robinson, and he would definitely bring some speed to the table, I think the excitement he would bring could wear off by Playoff time.
He will be better than Marbury, I just would rather part with something less significant than House.

This is the final year we really have a chance to contend for/win the title with the current nucleus. I don't want to just watch us fold.

It seems that the little that was traded for Marcus Camby, we could have made a play for him. Would have helped our matchup against Gasol, Bynum.

Emily, I was also crushed. I think Ainge was crushed as well.

Ainge(2 time all-star) and Brad Lohous for Ed Pinckney and Joe Kleine. What a crappy trade.

Glad I'm not the only one!

It will definitely be sad to see Eddie go (and his little son who's often bouncing around under the home basket at the Garden). I also have always liked Billy Walker and think he'll develop into a solid player.
