During tonight's Celtics/Pistons game, Boston forward Glen Davis could be very clearly heard using obscene language toward a Detroit fan during a break in play. This season is quickly becoming one to forget for Davis, who was shelved until Christmas after breaking is right thumb in a fight with a friend just prior to the start of the season. Now he we likely be fined heavily and have his reputation further tarnished by this latest incident. While he's certainly not the first athlete to say something vulgar to a fan, he is the first one I remember having his comment recorded so clearly by the live broadcast of the game. Perhaps Big Baby should stop worrying about being called fat by an opposing fan and start worrying about contributing more than the measly 5.8 points per game he's currently giving the Celtics.

I wonder if these examples of inferior brain power contributed to him being a 2nd round pick or nobody going after him as a restricted free agent this past off season.
For the record, he got a $25K fine.
I heard people saying he may be suspended but that clearly would have been way too harsh. The only way that happens is if the Celtics themselves sat him down just to teach him to smarten up, but not a league mandated one.
He seemed so normal and likable a year ago, but between the Twitter thing over his contract, the fight, and now this I am starting to wonder.
