Ladder Challenge: Ouimet vs Pedroia

In the last edition of the Ladder Challenge it was Kevin Faulk defeating his Pats teammate Randy Moss with a convincing 72% of the vote to move up 10 spots to #84 on the Ladder. The loss knocks Moss down to #94. In this week's Challenge the 1913 U.S. Open Golf Champion Francis Ouimet (#82) tries to hold off the challenge of 2008 American League MVP Dustin Pedroia (#85). As much as I love the Sox second baseman, Ouimet is in the World Golf Hall of Fame, and Pedroia still has a way to go before reaching Cooperstown...as a result Ouimet has my vote in this week's Challenge. So who has your support this week? (and remember, as always, most votes in the comments section is the tie-breaker).

Ouimet is the greatest golfer from the Boston-area of all-time. He is possibly the greatest amateur golfer of all-time. If anything he should be moving up the Ladder, not falling any further down it.

In their little bio that you provide for us each week, would it also be possible to list where they were originally ranked on the ladder?

I vote for the b-line native.
