Celts Report: Game 14 at Knicks

The Celtics (9-4) head to New York this afternoon to take on the Knicks (3-9). Boston is hoping to rebound from Friday's loss to the Magic, a game in which they shot just 2-19 from 3-point land, "led" by Rasheed Wallace's 0-8. That trend will need to come to an end today if they hope to beat the Knicks. New York no longer has some of the idiots from last year's team (Zach Randolph, Quentin Richardson) but they still have plenty of idiots left (Eddy Curry, Al Harrinton, Larry Hughes) to make the Knicks as easy to root against as ever. Let's go Celtics!

FINAL SCORE (in OT)

BOS: 107
NYK: 105

KG with the game-winning shot in OT, but other than that he played the worst game I can remember seeing him play as a Celtic (and I wasn't all that impressed with him Friday). Hope this is neither injury-related or a new trend (i.e. the end of the road).

Pierce & Perk both played excellent.

I almost wish the Knicks were better because they are very fun to hate. Lots of players easy to root against.

PA Announcer at MSG says Galinari with an over emphasized Italian accept. Really funny....almost like Trebek on Jeopardy!

Will Farrell & Mark Wahlberg were there courtside, center court, filming scenes for a movie coming out next year. Farrell was over celebrating everything....you could just see him jumping up and down with a giant, orange foam #1 finger.
