In the last edition of Ladder Challenge it was Ty Law defeating Terry O'Reilly with 100% of the vote to move up 8 spots to #39 and knock the B's captain down to #47. It was just the 2nd shutout in Challenge history. In this week's Challenge, 2-time World Series winner David Ortiz (#35) attempts to move up 6 spots by taking on 3-time Cy Young Award winner Roger Clemens (#29). In a move that some may find shocking, we're going with The Rocket's 13 years of excellence over 7 from Big Papi. So who has your support in this week's Ladder Challenge? (and remember, most votes in the comments section is the tie-breaker, so be sure to voice your opinion!)

I still love Papi but I think the PED thing soured me a bit. I have a feeling if not for that I would have voted for him here...but when Roger Clemens is in a challenge and he's the one who DID NOT get cause for PEDs in Boston, it's tough to use that against him despite his horrible character.
At this point Clemens still gets the nod from me but if Ortiz can tack on another solid season or 2 and move up the franchise's all-time lists than he would be tough to vote against.
Must admit, I feel a bit guilty casting a vote for Clemens and against Ortiz, but based on their Boston stays I do think it's the right decision.
...now feel free to bash me.
Ortiz.
ortiz without a doubt!
