The Red Sox (64-48) try to make it 3 in a row against the Tigers (59-53) tonight in the penultimate game of their 4-game series. Josh Beckett (13-4, 3.12 ERA)takes the mound for Boston, who received a no decision in his last outing despite pitching brilliantly against the Yankees. He'll be opposed by Detroit's Zach Miner (5-2, 4.60 ERA). Aside from the 2-game win streak the Sox have put together, the other bright spot this series is the apparent resurgence of 1st half team MVP Jason Bay, who hit homers in consecutive games after hitting only 1 the entire month of July. Let's go Red Sox!
