Sox Report: Game 109 vs Yankees

After dropping the first 2 games of the series the Red Sox (62-46) now find themselves 4.5 games behind the AL East leading Yankees (67-42). Fortunately for Boston they still have 2 weekend games to try and get back in the division race. That task begins today and falls on the shoulders of Clay Buchholz (1-1, 6.05 ERA). Clay won his first start of '09 but is 0-1 with a 7.90 ERA in 3 starts since. New York sends their $161 million man to the mound today, CC Sabathia (11-7, 3.95 ERA). Today is big for Boston as the Texas Rangers are now just 1 game behind them in the Wild Card standings. Let's go Red Sox!
