Ladder Challenge: Hannah vs Clapper

In the last edition of Ladder Challenge it was Cam Neely defeating Roger Clemens with 88% of the vote to move the B's #8 up to #27 on the Ladder, and dropping the Rocket down 2 spots to #29. In this week's Challenge it is features a pair of Hall of Famers as John Hannah of the Patriots tries to defend his spot at #13 against the Bruins Dit Clappper (#17). Despite Hog Hannah's amazing caraeer, Clapper played 20 years in Boston and won 3 rings along the way...that is too tough for us to ignore. So who has your support in this week's Ladder Challenge? (and remember, most votes in the comments section is the tie-breaker, so be sure to voice your opinion!)

VERY close one this week. Always tough when it gets into the Top 20.

Clapper's titles, and 24 years total with the club without ever being a part of another franchise, give him a slight edge in my book.

DK, if Hannah is ranked 13 and did not beat or lose to anyone, and Dit is ranked 17 and did not beat or lose to anyone how does your vote go to Dit?

It seems that you should have reconsidered the order of the ladder before posting.

I have already admitted that I disagree with some of the initial rankings of the Ladder. I did them mostly of lists of "all-time" great Boston athletes already out there making my own adjustments where I saw fit to do so.

That said, to be honest I'm still not 100% sold on this vote but 20 years with one team as a player, another 4 as a coach, 3 rings, and being so good the Hall of Fame waived the 5 year wait period? That is impressive. (not that Hog Hannah isn't)

I always thought Dit Clapper sounded like a sexually transmitted disease.
I'll give him a vote for living with that name his whole life.
