The Red Sox (50-33) try to take the rubber game of their series with the A's (35-47) tonight and get back to .500 on their 10-game homestand before the All Star break. Tim Wakefield (10-3, 4.30 ERA) makes his first start for Boston since being named to his 1st All Star team on Sunday. A victory tonight would make Wake the A.L.'s first pitcher to 11 wins. Oakland counters with rookie Trevor Cahill (5-7, 4.55 ERA). Let's go Red Sox!
