The red hot Red Sox (11-6) hope to complete the weekend sweep of the Yankees (9-8) when they meet in the series finale tonight on ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball. Boston is winners of 9 straight and have certainly rewarded those who didn't panic after their 2-6 start. The first two games of the series were both dramatic Red Sox comebacks. On Friday they came from 2 down with 2 out in the 9th inning with Mariano Rivera on the mound for New York to tie the game (Jason Bay HR) and then win it in the 11th (Kevin Youkilis HR). On Saturday they came from a 6-0 deficit to pour on 16 runs (Jason Varitek grand slam, Mike Lowell 3-run HR) and win 16-11. Tonight it will be Justin Masterson (1-0, 3.18 ERA) for Boston opposing Andy Pettitte (2-0, 2.53 ERA) for the Yanks. They are hoping their aren't 27 runs scored today, but Jedi is certainly hoping for another Boston victory. Let's go Red Sox!
