The Celtics are in Chicago for tonight's Game 3 with the Bulls, the best of 7 series tied up at one game apiece. Boston is now without both Kevin Garnett and Leon Powe, so clearly it will be up to those still in uniform to pick up the slack. Look for Kendrick Perkins and Glen Davis (both having a strong series) to play big minutes from here on out. The Celts were unable to stop Derrick Rose in Game 1 or Ben Gordon in Game 2, so it seems to be a game of "pick your poison" with the Bulls backcourt. If that's the case letting Gordon try to put in 40 again is the wise choice, as Rose getting easy baskets will translate into favorable results for Chicago. Can the C's overcome their injuries and win back homecourt advantage? Can Ray Allen stay red hot? Will the Boston bench finally step up and contribute? Will Perk fight Noah? We'll find out tonight. Let's go Celtics!

I still think the C's have this...they are a missed free throw away from being up 2-0 despite (IMHO) being outplayed in both games. If they can steal just one of these next two in Chicago they should be back in the driver's seat.

The key to the game is kendrick perkins staying out of foul trouble. He was unbelievable on the boards in game 2, especially on the offense glass. If he gets in foul trouble, this game will be over, quickly.
Paul Pierce also needs to return to his 2008 playoff form. This is his team and he needs to be a leader. Please dont give me the argument that he is tired from covering John Salmons. Pierce dominated both Kobe and Lebron and both ends of the floor in 2008, he can handle Salmons.
