The Bruins (51-18-10, 112 points) tonight play host to the Canadiens (41-29-10, 92 points) in what could turn out to be a 1st round playoff preview. Although the Bruins have already clinched the #1 seed in the East, therefore making tonight's game virtually meaningless to them, they will still want to play better than their flat performance in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to Ottawa. This is the B's 6th and final meeting with the Habs, and they are 4-0-1 in the first 5. This game also gives me one more chance to show the Milan Lucic's beat down of Mike Komisarek early this year. Hopefully Boston will send another message Montreal's way tonight. Let's go Bruins!

If the B's wanted to avoid the Canadiens first round (don't know why they would based on this season's results) they would be best off letting Montreal win this one.
That's IF they think they Rangers or Panthers would be a much easier 1st round opponent.
NHL to play game in Fenway.
Goal by Bergeron! 1-0 B's!
Definitely some major league bad blood here. I love it. Komisarek just tried to run Krejci and Chara just beat him down.
I love it!
End of 1, 1-0 Bruins.
Jack Edwards: Time for the intermission report and my blood pressure medicine!
Chara and Lucic and bringing their A-game tonight in terms of toughness.
Wow, I barely left and yet I missed alot. 13+ minutes left in the 2nd and it's now 3-1 Bruins. Also, Thornton dropped the gloves with O'Bryrne (who seems like a giant d-bag). Missed the fight....hope to see a replay.
Nice use of D-Bag
This game sounds Chippy
Very.
Habs scored 4 in the 2nd (ouch) but Chara just scored on the PP to make it 4-4 with just under 14 minutes to play.
Sidenote: B's when on the PP on a "Delay of Game, Over the Glass" penalty. I'm not a fan of this penalty at all (even though it helped us here). Perhaps they could make that a 1 minute penalty?
Impressed the Bruins are showing some grit in a meaningless game to them.
Guess the rivalary is always alive, especially when the the Canadians are likely to be the first round opponent.
I think I may have to DVR this game so I can watch it again. AWESOME!!
When NESN rebroadcasts it overnight, that is.
Bergie's best play all year for that goal. That was a sick play to make the check, keep his balance, steal the puck, fake the shot and feed a perfect pass. Unbelievable. He has been playing very well the last few weeks, I hope it continues in the playoffs.
Great win for the B's! 4-3 final in OT on Recchi's 2nd goal of the game.
3 Stars...
1-Recchi
2-Bergeron
3-Chara
DuffMan I think the rebroadcast is Friday at 1 pm.
