T.T. the Bear = NHL MVP?

Although the Bruins offense has struggled in the season's second half, the B's remain in 1st place in the Eastern Conference. There are many factors in how they have managed this, but none more important than T.T. the Bear, Tim Thomas. The Bruins All Star goalie may have seen him numbers dip slightly since the All Star break, but he continues to lead the league in both Save % (.931) and GAA (2.11) while posting an impressive 31-11-7 record. Although arguments could be made for both Zdeno Chara and Marc Savard as the B's MVP at varioius points this season, in the end it is Thomas who has earned the Hart Trophy consideration...or at least consideration to be the runner-up to Alexander Ovechkin.

..and yes, I know voters get 3, not 5, people on their ballots. I just thought I'd show some extra love. My year-end awards will have the correct numbers of votes.

And if it wasn't obvious already, Thomas would get my vote for the Vezina.

hate to disagree but i dont even think thomas is team mvp. my vote would go to chara, who i do think is worthy of being a finalist for the hart (and win the norris)

i think thomas and chara will probably cancel each other out in the voting though and neither will be a finalist. ovechkin will win for sure and datsyuk, parise, carter, malkin and some others will all be contenders too. id love for at least 1 of them to be a finalist though
