Okay, technically it's not Day 1 since Moorehead State beat Alabama State on Tuesday to secure the final spot in the field of 64, but you get the point....March Madness is here! The first full day of competition features such title contenders as UConn, Duke, Memphis, Oklahoma and North Carolina looking to start off their championship run on the right foot. Will this be the year a #1 finally goes down to a #16? Will there be the annual #12 beating a #5? Who will dominate? Who will emerge as Cinderella? I'll take W.Kentucky over Illinois as my Day 1 upset....I honestly think it will be a day where nearly all the favorites roll. But you never know, which is what makes the tourney so great.

Memphis down 4 with 10 minutes to go against Cal State Northridge? That could be the biggest 1st Round upset in history if they hold on.
False upset alarm...Memphis ended up winning easy.
Only upsets so far are the 10 vs 7 games...which I'm not sure even qualify as upsets.
#3 Villanova was down 14 in the 2nd half and came back to beat #14 American U.
Would have been a sweet upset.

It was my upset special of the day! Thank goodness I'm headed to Vegas tomorrow...I can finally cash in on these great predictions.
