In last week's Ladder Challenge it was Bill Russell earning 65% of the vote to defeat Bobby Orr and maintain his #1 spot on the Ladder. This week's battle has 2-time World Series winning manager Terry Francona attempting to earn his way onto the Ladder by taking on 2008 A.L. MVP Dustin Pedroia (#94). If he wins, Tito would join Auerbach and Belichick as the only people on the Ladder primarily for their work as coaches. Although I do think Francona deserves a place on the Ladder, I don't believe he deserves to beat Pedroia to get there. So who has your vote in the latest Ladder Challenge?

I love Tito, and I really do believe he belongs on the Ladder over some of the folks on there, but Destroya has played 2 full seasons and won Rookie of the Year, MVP and a World Series. Tough to do much better than that. With an extension already signed there is no reason to believe he will do anything but climb the Ladder as the years go by.
i was hoping the destroya wasnt the one challenged because i was going to vote for him to try and move up. this is an easy vote for me even though i love tito
how is everyone silent on these every week?
The magic # this week is 5...so whoever is voted to be the Challenger will have the chance to move up 5 spots.
Destroya gets my vote. But i do agree that Tito should be on the ladder.
