B's Report: Game 72 vs Kings

The Bruins (45-17-9, 99 points) take their second crack at reaching the 100-point plateau when the host the Kings (29-30-10, 68 points) tonight at the Garden. Claude Julien was clearly unhappy with the B's showing in Sunday's 6-4 loss to the Penguins, and publicly stated he hoped leading scorer Marc Savard started playing more mistake-free hockey. Can the creative center stop taking chances and still perform at the level that made him an All Star the last two years? Meanwhile L.A. comes into the game having lost 3 in a row and is just 6 points out of last place in the West. The Kings are playing for nothing, but they also have nothing to lose, which is always dangerous. Let's go Bruins!

Be nice to see Savard have a huge game tonight.

I feel like I just totally jinxed the B's. They were up 2-0 in the 3rd when I turned it on....Kings tie it at 2 and then win in OT. Tough loss.

One really nice highlight...Bergeron made a sick feed to Recchi for his goal.
