The Celtics (31-9) host the Nets (19-19) tonight at the Garden in the first half of a home-and-home series. Boston is hoping their modest two-game win streak is the sign of good things to come, however New Jersey will certainly not be a pushover. Picked my most to be a non-factor this season, the Nets are currently #7 in the East and feature 2 of the top 10 scorers in the league: Devin Harris (22.9) and Vince Carter (22.7). Hopefully tonight the Celts "Big 3" are able to overcome the Nets "Big 2". Let's go Celtics!

Big game/challenge for Rondo tonight. Harris might be the best point guard in the East right now...and since they are both young and in the same division this could be the start of a longtime rivalry.
That shit was nasty!!
B. Walker
O'Briant sucks...
*y
Brad Penny and Walter McCarty at game. Love it.
Bill Walker is very exciting. Greg Dorkerson mentioned that Wyc hinted that the Celts may be trying to make a move soon...interesting.
Celts win big 118-86
Win streak hits 3! I know it's modest, but after losing 7 of 9 it's pretty sweet.
Perk out again tonight. Hope to have him back soon (win streak or not, he's a presence)
3 STARS
1 - RONDO; 11 points, 7 rebounds, 12 assists, 3 steals
2 - PIERCE; 22 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, game-best +26
3 - GARNETT; 20 points (8-11 FG), 9 rebounds
Vince Carter: 1-10, 4 points
Looks like Walker is ahead of Giddens on the pecking order at the moment. Interesting.
We need to keep him up here and not in semi-pro right now. He's playing like TA did when it was a showdown between which young Celtic would be greater, Tony Allen, or Al Jefferson. Now he plays like a defensive Ball hog.
I'd rather have B. Walker's explosiveness in there anytime
Patrick O'Bryant is near painful to watch out there flopping around.
Big Baby is losing some of the "doh" affection he had last year, and ceasing to develop as a young player.
Get back in shape and start playing for real.
I wanna see that Fortson-esque, Corliss Williamson aggressiveness on the boards. Take a charge.
As for P O'Bryant I say cut our losses now, that's right, cut all ties - a player like that is just gonna slow us down this year. Forget about teaching the young guys [with this one], he'd need Wilt Chamberlain, George Mikan, every Duke Blue Devil point guard that's been in a motorvehicle accident & the late great Len Bias visiting him nightly in his dreams to get pointers. Lost Cause.
Not worth the effort.
