Celts Report: Game 35 vs Knicks

The Celtics (29-5) look to add to their modest one-game win streak when they head to New York to take on the Knicks (12-19) today. The teams have met twice this season with the Celts winning both contests. In their last meeting, December 21, the Celts were unstoppable offensively and poured on 124 points on their way to a 19 point victory. Rondo led the way with 26 points. In their MSG matchup the Knicks held tight but the C's prevailed 110-101 despite having KG out of the lineup. Will the third time be the charm for the Knicks? Doubt it. Let's go Celtics!

I would love to see the C's pull a total blowout tonight...any time that Quentin Richardson is on the other team it's nice to rub in the victory as much as humanly possible.

As with all the lower-tier teams, important not to give them confidence by letting them stick around. Once the C's get the lead they need to step on their throats and put the game away...something they failed to do against both Golden State and Portland, teams that had no right to beat Boston.

C's were trailing by 1 after the 1st (25-24). Currently up 37-36 halfway through the 2nd quarter.

Al Harrington has 20 of the Knicks 36 points! He's 8-11 (3-4 on 3's)

C's up 53-50 at the half. Would really like to see them come flying out here and put the Knicks away. Can't keep giving them hope.

Rondo with a steal and assist to start the 2nd half...good sign.

Ray Allen is playing well.

NY brings Harrington in 1:15 into the 2nd half...not sure why they didn't just start him he's the only thing keeping them in this game.

C's down 78-68....Al Harrington is still torching the C's and this is beginning to look like the losses to the Warriors and Blazers. Not good.
