Loves Dewey and hates A-Rod...that's RBSF HOF material if you ask me.

Congrats Luke...welcome aboard.

Much appreciated my man. What a side order to go with a Pats 1 - 0 season opener today.

Other VERY honorable mentions on favorite all-time Boston athletes would include:
Danny Ainge, Ty Law, Pedro Martinez, Tedy Bruschi, David Ortiz, Rodney Harrison, Bruce Armstrong, Ray Bourque, Troy Brown, Ben Coates & possibly Mike Greenwell.

Bob Cousy, Tom Brady, Robert Parrish, and Ted Williams.

Solid list, and good shout out to Bruce Armstrong since it's his birthday today.

congrats again Luke!

First time hitting a beach ball at Fenway! Awesome. how old were you?

My favorite past of "Moss' first game with the Pats" was the awesome ovation Belichick got in the wake of the Spygate scandal breaking. He seemed genuinely moved by the fans show of support. Very cool moment.

I was in 8th grade so I must've been 14. I had been watching it bounce around for years from left field (pre-Monster seats) in these good seats I'd get from time to time, but when I was in the bleachers, to hit the ball, it was just one of those occasions...

It always seemed like all the fun was happening in the bleachers.

Thanks man.

The game I went to was actually the one that caused all the hullabaloo, in the Meadowlands. It was not only Moss' first game but my first Pats game (& only my 2nd NFL game). It was cool to see Brady bullet the ball, which incidentally was much faster than it seemed on tv and Welker and Moss really produce for us.

Brady out, Colts and Chargers lose week one, what a long way we've come in a year.
(though the Bolts started off slow last year too)

Bill Belichick will always get respect here & the other teams in the league know he is a tier above the rest. (despite what they may say)
The average Boston fan has too good a sports IQ to take what he's done lightly.

My mistake Luke, I didn't realize you meant the game in the Meadowlands, not Gillette. Even better...the Spygate game itself.

As for the beach ball, I will forgive it since you were younger at the time and it means something different then...but I absolutely hate the beach balls at games now.

Maybe I'm just getting too old.

C'mon... quintessential Boston!

Beach ball may be a weekend grudge soon. The only thing I ever liked about it was when Bob Stanley used to smash the ones that went on the field with a rake.

I've forgiven you countless times you don't even know of.
