Tonight is the annual NBA Draft and I highly recommend getting together with some friends and turning the draft into a Draft Party. The NBA Draft is the best draft of them all, because, unlike with the MLB and NHL Drafts, these are players who will all be on NBA rosters immediately. And unlike the NFL Draft it does not take 14 hours to complete. Even though the Celtics begin the night picking all the way down at #30, the draft gives great insight into which players you will be able to for, and more importantly against, for years to come. And of couse there is always the chance of trading up! It's following the NBA Draft now that helps to make following the NBA Finals down the road even sweeter as a real fan (and not have to ask "who's that" a million times). Not to mention it's a solid excuse for us old, married guys to get together with the boys and have a few cold ones on a work night! So call some friends and turn the NBA Draft into a Draft Party...you wont regret it.

I'm hoping this goes better than my NFL Draft "Party", which took place when we were visiting The Mrs mother in Florida and involved me answering the question "now why are you watching this again" about 100 times.
If people are not 100% into the draft they should absolutely not be present for it. Period.
Does this mean there's a party at DK's tonight? Whoo-hoo!
Since the draft snuck up on me this year and I am off for vacation on the Cape tomorrow it may be a 1-man party in the Kelley house tonight....but do as I say, not as I do.
