Tonight the Celtics play the Hawks in Game 5 of their opening round series. Personally I'm predicting a HUGE win for the Celtics after two tough losses in Atlanta. Final score: 108-86. KG needs to come up big in this one after being outplayed by Josh Smith in Atlanta. The C's also need to find a way to stop Joe Johnson who single-handedly outplayed Boston in the 4th Quarter of Game 4. Perhaps this means more playing time for James Posey, Tony Allen or anyone else who can prevent him from getting easy looks. With a big win tonight the Celtics return to the driver's seat, but with a loss they are in jeopardy of seeing an amazing regular season go down the drain. The thought here is that the Big 3 simply wont allow that to happen.

I think Paul Pierce got hurt after that hard foul in game 2 worse than he is letting on. His play is the key to the game, let's hope he doesn't have to hit a clutch free throw or two down the stretch...not his strong suit.
What is the over/under for gang signs flashed in the game tonight?
If the Celtics need Pierce, or anyone else, to hit clutch free throws down the strech they are probably in trouble already because they are playing so tight with the game on the line. The Hawks are definitely the much looser team. I love KG's intensity, but he looked like he was ready to kill someone when he was at the line at the end of Game 4 and it's hard to hit from the line when you are that tense. I agree that The Truth is the key to this game though...and I expect him to come up big.
Up 58-43 at halftime. Pierce has been as good as hoped/expected with 13-5-4. Rondo has been awesome 12-3-5 while holding Bibby to 3 points and no assists. The player of the half though was Leon Powe: 7 points and 7 rebounds off the bench in 14 minutes. Also had 5 offensive rebounds and one of the best picks I've ever seen. Love the energy he brought. Hoping they blow this open even more right away and ruin the Hawks spirits.
I must give credit where credit is due, and in this case it is to myself! I predicted a 108-86 22-point blowout win and it ended up as a 110-85 25-point point blowout win. Not too shabby if I do say so myself.
Highlights:
1. Paul Pierce from start to finish in every facet of the game (except his 0-3 on 3's). Best player on the court tonight.
2. Rondo's 1st Half.
3. Ray Allen's 2nd Half.
4. The bench! Powe, Posey and Cassell combined for 29 pts, 13 reb, 4 ast, 3 steals and a block.
5. Maintaining composure even when Smith, Horford and Johnson began to act like the idiots they clearly are.
Lowlights:
1. Ray Allen's 1st Half
2. K-Perk...love him but he needs more than 2 points (1 FGA) and 3 rebounds. Early foul trouble hurt.
3. Keeping too much composure...I would love to see someone lay Horford out cold before this series is over (which will hopefully be at the end of Game 6)
